If so, this could be the role for you! We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial individual to lead a fledgling Visitor Attraction and Heritage Site. Cardigan Castle is a site of great cultural importance in Welsh History.
The site of the first Eisteddfod, it was built in 1176 by the Lord Rhys – the first stone castle to be built by a Welshman. The Castle which is located in a delightful part of West Wales has recently undergone a £12.5million renovation, opening to the public in April 2015.
The site included buildings and exhibitions of historical and cultural significance whilst providing self-catering accommodation, B&B accommodation and facilities for Weddings, meetings and events along with a stand-alone Restaurant and Visitor Shop.
If you have the creative, innovative and imaginative skills to carry the Castle through to the next stage of its journey and can demonstrate a proven record of successful business management we would like to hear from you.
