This is the first of the temporary exhibitions to be housed in the former Drawing Room. The Story of Cardigan shares the town’s colourful, and sometimes surprising, history.
As well as information panels and images, there are artefacts on display — many never seen before — including medieval pottery and other finds from the Castle, ship-builders’ tools, and items from Cardigan’s commercial and social history.
Each summer, visitors can explore The Story of Cardigan, told in a slightly different way. And during the rest of the year, the room will host a number of temporary exhibitions, on a variety of both local and general topics.
