Historian lends prints to castle

Cardigan Castle historian Glen Johnson has loaned a collection of prints to the castle.

The dozen framed pictures include prints that used to hang in Castle Green House prior to 1924 and were given to Glen by a member of the Berrington Davies family.

There are also antique maps of Cardiganshire plus framed front pages of local newspapers charting the long campaign to save the castle.

The pictures are now on display in the top of Castle Green House.

“It’s great to see them on display, especially the prints that used to hang in the house at the turn of the 20th century,” said Glen.
