Plaid AM welcomes opportunity to meet with Cadwgan Trust

Plaid AM _Nerys Evans welcomed the opportunity to meet with representatives from the Cadwgan Building Preservation Trust in the Senedd in Cardiff Bay recently. In a meeting arranged by Ceredigion AM Elin Jones Cadwgan Trust representatives outlined their plans to renovate Cardigan Castle.
Cadwgan Building Preservation Trust was recently awarded Heritage Lottery Funding to further develop their plans to restore Cardigan Castle.
Plaid AM Nerys Evans said:
“I was pleased to meet with the trustees and learn more about this project. This will be an important development for Cardigan and the whole of West Wales. It was excellent news when it was announced recently that Cardigan Castle had managed to attract such a significant amount of Heritage Lottery Funding and I must congratulate the Cadwgan Trust for all their hard work on behalf of the town. I now look forward to seeing the result of the work to restore the Castle.”
