Welcome to 1176 – a one-of-a-kind dining experience waiting for you at Cardigan Castle.

Named after the year that Lord Rhys hosted Wales’ first Eisteddfod, amongst these very walls, the 70-seat restaurant is surrounded by beautiful grounds and 900 years of history.

With a contemporary slate and floor-to-ceiling glass design and panoramic views over the River Teifi, our restaurant is certainly fit for a Prince.

During the warmer months, you can also eat alfresco on our sun terrace, capturing prime views looking out over the river.

Enjoy our famous afternoon tea - just £13.95 per person (£18.95 with a glass of sparkling Prosecco)
