Clynfyw volunteers revamp gardens

A group of volunteers from Clynfyw Care Farm at Abercych are taking on the revamp of Brioude Gardens in Cardigan.

The public gardens have been taken under the wing of Cardigan Castle on a long lease from owners Ceredigion County Council.
The gang – pictured with castle gardener Mark Dellar – will be cleaning the gardens and planting flowers ready for the spring.
Clynfyw volunteers attend the castle every week to undertake work in the grounds.

They will now be taking the lead on the care of Brioude Gardens.

Gardener Mark said: “The guys from Clynfyw do a sterling job at the castle. We felt that Brioude Gardens would be a great project for them to get their teeth into.”
